Final Rounds and Nominate-palooza
Games = Fun, Most of the Time
Hi friends,
The first ever TSA Taco Tourney is racing towards a glorious close. Four shops remain. I have visited each one and they are all worthy champions. Or as the French would say, champignons (groan).
We learned many things running this little tournament. Greensboro takes their tacos very seriously. Lawn signs should be in Spanish and English. Unlike NCAA basketball, we can take our time each round to collect votes and have a good think about the meaning of life and whether a street taco should have 1 or 2 corn tortillas. So while the early rounds were fast and furious, the later rounds have been steady and strong.
What Comes Next?
-
End-of-year Rankings: The TSA leaderboard never sleeps. At the end of the year we will celebrate the top performers much like we will celebrate our tournament winners. It is a tremendous honor to finish the year at the top of the leaderboard and we have the trophy decals to celebrate the accomplishment. Please continue to share your nominations, votes, and reviews, as we grow this essential community-guide for tacos.
-
Nominate-palooza: Now through the end of June, all successful shop nominations will receive an entry into a drawing for a FREE THING from the TSA Store. You choose the thing - hoodie, sticker, whatever you like. I can promise you we're missing many excellent taco shops in your state. Send me your nominations and at the end of June you may be the luckiest of all lucky people. No limit on the number of entries.
Yours with onion and cilantro,
Bjorn
