I am not a fan of eating lengua tacos

Hi friends,

Hear me out! I do keep lengua tacos in my rotation just to periodically check if my taste has matured. I aspire to someday be that guy who can enjoy anything on the menu. And I don't think lengua tacos are bad, they just aren't as good as al pastor (what is?).

But I always look for lengua tacos on a menu because of this fact of all taco facts — if you see lengua tacos on the menu, you're probably in a legit taco shop. Chipotle has no lengua on the menu. Taco Bell, I don't even need to check.

Here's a menu that says "yummy tacos"

Note the tripa, head, lengua (tongue), cheek... we have all the good stuff! And you may not have a hankering for a lengua taco right now, but if you want an A+ carne asada taco, this is the kind of place you will find it.
